I drove right through the front gate, without any base decals, no stop, nothing... I looked in my rear-view mirror and noticed him dragging his lazy butt out of his little hut, looking at my car and shrugging his shoulders!! SO, I reversed, and asked for directions. THEN he said "oh, you have to get a pass." REALLY?!?!?! WOW!! Glad they kept their standards high when they picked you up there brain chow. Tell me something, do you normally leave your lights on when your brain takes a trip? I mean seriously, come on!!! At least pretend to care about the ones who are trusting you to protect them while they're doing the things you didn't sign up to do!
Dear Lt. Gen. Benjamin R. Mixon (Commanding General U.S. Army, Pacific),
Please take time out of your busy schedule running the rest of the Army within the Pacific and visit Schofield Barracks, side gate near the H2 on ramp. You've got a few stellar gate sentry's who in my opinion should be punched in the ear for dereliction of duty.
